About BHASKAR SANSKAR KENDRA

"Bhaskar Sanskar Kendra" had a humble beginning in November 1988 in a small village known as No. 2 Parbatipur, in the Lakhimpur district of Assam. The village was predominantly inherited by ex-tea garden workers community speaking the Sadani dialect. The community there had zero literacy and was living in a very pathetic condition. Due to illiteracy, excessive drinking and social backwardness, it was a soft target to be exploited by vested interests. Few young boys and girls of the community joined hands to rise from this sunken situation through "Shiksha and Sanskars". In the name of the bright Lord Sun, they founded "Bhaskar Sanskar Kendra" and began their activities in the evening with games, songs, stories, prayer and studies. Since then they have never looked back and with hard work, have risen to a stage, which many others wish to replicate.

In last 34 years, Bhaskar Sanskar Kendra has many more by products. A regular "Sanskar Shibir" of 15 hours a day (evening 5 p.m. to next morning 8 a m.) for around 80 teenage boys and girls is running smoothly for past 14 years. Disciplined routine is followed for all round development of Body, Mind and Brain in the Shibir free of cost.

International organisation "STEAM VISION FOUNDATION" collaborated with Bhaskar Sanskar Kendra to inculcate Scientific Temperament and Exposure to Technology for Parbatipur villagers, through a well-equipped "Digital Class Room". It brought the best of knowledge within the reach of common man. Weekly classes on Programming, Al, Animation, App Making for High School students. Workshops conducted by the volunteers from Jnana Prabodhini and Swaroopwardhini, Pune help the students grow stronger academically.
